Hard to believe my little guy turned one today! Here he is this morning opening a few more presents.

Colby was a little clingy this morning and did not want to be left at day care. It was so sad. He was tired all day. When we got home, we played, but he still didn't want to get too far away from Mommy. I'm pretty lucky that he's such a cuddler and we got some cuddles in. I'll take it while I can get it!
Here he is a little happier.

one year old!
Hurry, Mom, before I attack the bear or crawl off this chair!
Nothing but giggles!
And then we took Colby out for ice cream to celebrate his birthday. Poor little guy didn't even get any!
At one year old, Colby loves to eat. He will eat pretty much anything you put in front of him. His favorite, though, is macaroni and cheese. He gets very excited when he sees it, and if Becky still has some on her plate and his is gone, he will point to it and make noises to let you know he wants it. He has started pointing to lots of things to try and communicate with us. Sometimes we get it, sometimes we don't. He has taken a few steps on his own. He crawls at hyper speed. We are afraid when he does start to walk, he will take off running. He is drinking whole milk and loves drinking it himself out of a sippy cup. He also loves to drink water, especially out of a bottle or a regular cup. He likes to dance if there is music on. He loves watching his big sister and following her around. He does not like to be left alone and will not stay that way. He will go find someone to avoid being in a room by himself. He cries himself to sleep at night, but only for a few minutes before he is asleep and then sleeps through the night. He is a happy little guy most of time and a perfect number four for our family. Happy Birthday, Buddy!
