Howell Tree Farm
A couple weekends back, we went to Howell Tree Farm with the Boedings. I think everyone would have REALLY had fun, had it not been The Covered Bridges Festival weekend. There were so many people there! We did have a good time though, and Drake and Becky seemed to like following each other around!

first pumpkin patch
We also got to go to Pistol Pete's with Larry and Donna on Saturday. That was a fun trip. It was a beautiful day.
Becky shucking corn.
mining for gold...we got a pretty good stash!

Al got the pleasure of carrying the one we finally got picked out
Taking a water break
this is after five minutes of a movie...and she told me she wasn't tired and didn't need a nap. HA!
Al and Becky carving a little pumpkin Grandma had already bought so Becky could bring her big pumpkin home to carve some other time.
I am still a little bit behind...this was actually the first weekend in October we were in Spencer, but that's okay. I'm getting caught up. I'm now only one weekend of pictures behind. Yeah! But it's late and way past my bedtime, so that's all for now.
new big wheel
Al, Becky, and I got to got to Spencer to help Larry celebrate his birthday. I think Grandpa was more excited about giving Becky her Barbie three-wheeler than he was about having another birthday. She sure did have fun!
"having a wreck." Becky thinks it's fun to fall off the three-wheeler, ever so cautiously, of course, because she is so careful to not really hurt herself. Not sure if this came from the wreck she was in or the movie "Cars." Either way, she has a blast and it's pretty funny to witness!

Shea's house
Al's old car
Here are a few pics of "The Falcon." As most of you know ( or maybe not) Al and Becky were in an accident, oh a month ago I suppose. They were both fine, but, sadly, the truck was not. It ended up being totaled out, so Al has gotten a new truck. He finally got the insurance check yesterday. What a pain that was. If you REALLY want to know about it, you should ask him. Otherwise, just be thankful we're almost done with it!
The "survivors"
The deflated air bags. We'd never seen that before!
I haven't taken a picture of Al's new truck yet (he got a red Dodge Dakota) but this is what car shopping does to little girls!

Clay County Fair 2008
We got to go to the Clay County Fair the last weekend. Al and I even took vacation days on Friday so we could have two days at the fair. Brenda and Bode joined us on Saturday. Friday was animal looking day, and Saturday was Midway day. We sure did have fun!
Becky discovered Tom Thumb donuts. She ate almost an entire bag all by herself!

our princess
Becky is really into princesses right now. She picked out this lovely crown while we were at a family outing at Wal-Mart. Fun, I know. Anyway...she loves wearing it around. She also wore a Sleeping Beauty like dress at my dad's this weekend, and I could hardly to get her to take it off. Loved being a princess. She kept dancing around, holding the dress...definitely too cute. Of course, I forgot my camera. Good thing I'm sure she'll be playing dress-up for years to come!
Adventureland again!
On the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, we went to Adventureland to celebrate my birthday. We had a blast. Becky and my favorite ride was definitely the Tilt a Whirl. We went on it four times, twice two times in a row! That one's pretty hard to get pictures of, though, so here are some of Becky having a blast on the rides all by herself.

Union Park
Larry and Donna came to visit on August 30. After breakfast, we went to Union Park. The kids had a great time on the carousel. They got to ride it three times!

Becky is so polite. Here she is telling the gentleman thanks for the ride. What a sweetie!
The kids managed to get some playing done too before the park got too busy.

Bode was trying to show Becky how to go down the slide. It didn't work this time though. She just turned around and came down the stairs. She's not quite the daredevil that Bode is!
