Survivor finale

A couple weeks ago was our biannual Survivor get-together with the Boedings. This is how they showed up. We thought it was hilarious!

Drake and Becky sure had fun playing together. Towards the end of the night they were starting to wind down, but they still wanted to be together!

Cancun 2009

I thought rather than trying to post pictures of our trip, I would do another Smilebox. I'm loving doing these. It's so much fun! Now, keep in mind we were using disposable cameras on our trip, so the pictures aren't the greatest. We had fun, though, and made lots of memories, and that's all that really matters. Enjoy!

Here is one picture of Al I managed to take on my digital camera before it went kaput. Our hotel was right on the ocean! We spent a lot of the first night we were there walking around with drinks in hand to get an idea for what all was available for us to do. I did get the last of the disposable camera used up on Becky tonight, so I will try to get that taken to Walgreens tomorrow to see if they can develop those for me. I'll keep my fingers crossed! Then this weekend, I'm definitely going camera shopping! I hate not having a digital camera, and so does Becky! She kept telling me she wanted to see it. How did we ever survive before cameras were digital?

we're home!

Al and I made it home safely from Cancun yesterday. What a great trip! I would post pictures, but my camera broke on the first day we were there when the ocean waves knocked me into a bunch of rocks. The disposable camera I bought the next day doesn't seem to be winding correctly. I will try to get it finished up soon so I can take it to the old fashioned camera store and try to get it developed! We did some relaxing by the pool and by the ocean and a little snorkeling. We even got an extra stay in a hotel in Atlanta on Friday night. We had a really great time, but are glad to be home. And, no, as far as we know, we do not have the flu. We did not even see or hear of anyone where we were who was sick. I guess we'll know for sure in a few days, but so far, we're in the clear!

Becky was pretty excited to get a fishing pole from the Easter Bunny. She has been practicing outside when it is nice. Can't wait until Al and I can take her fishing!

Becky woke up and hurried around to get the Easter eggs (so the cats didn't mess with them!) before church.

Grandma also hid eggs for Becky when we got home, but I didn't get any pictures of that. She sure had a good time hunting those Easter eggs! The next Sunday she was really sad that the Easter Bunny wasn't at church!

Becky decided she liked me taking pictures of her, so her latest thing is to say, "take a picture of this!" She sure had fun coming up with silly things to do, many of which including taking her clothes off, which she has just recently mastered all by herself.

California family

Becky and I were lucky enough to spend most of last week in Mt. Ayr with my family from California. We had such a great time. The kids got along great! We don't get to see them very often, but when we do, we have so much fun!

I took a day off to take Becky to the capitol for a visit with my dad. Becky sure had fun walking up and down all the stairs and collecting candy from everyone! Thanks for a great visit!
