So this is all my posting for tonight. I think you're up to July. That's pretty good for me. Only one month behind. I'll try to get more updated soon. I hate to put it all on at once, though, because I know some of you like to look every single day!

Tatum
We also got to watch my cousin Melissa's little girl, Tatum, one night. I said we were busy in June. I wasn't kidding. At work and at home! Anyway, we had a blast. Tautm just loved watching Becky the whole time and was pretty sad when Becky went to bed. She wasn't sure she really wanted to just be with Al and I. She has the cutest hair that sticks straight up. She was hilarious!
I think she looks a lot like my cousin Melissa, so it was a little weird to be rocking her and look down. I don't remember when Melissa was that little, but I used to baby-sit her at a fairly young age, so it made me feel slightly old. And all these babies sure are giving me baby fever! Maybe one of these days there will be another little Johnson running around. Until then, I guess I will just be glad that I don't have to haul a diaper bag everywhere I go and keep extra diapers in the car! It is so amazing how once your child is potty-trained, you almost feel naked every time you leave the house because you don't have to take anything with you!

Al's first motorcycle ride
We went to visit some friends and their new baby one Friday night in June. I didn't get any picutres of their new little girl, but I did get Danielle to snap a few pictures of Al on his first motorcycle ride. (she's an avid scrapbooker too, obviously!) Anyway, it was pretty funny to see him on such a little bike, but he had fun!
Isabelle Ann Durbin
We got to watch Isabelle, Holly's little girl, for a couple nights while Holly was working overnights and Daniel was out of town. It sure was fun to watch her. Becky and I had a blast! (I even skipped volleyball to help Holly out. Al enjoyed her the second night too.) Holly called me while she was at work and asked if I could take a couple pictures because it was Isabelle's first overnight. I said to her, "Like I haven't already!" So here are a few of them. What a cutie!

Flag Fest Weekend
Okay. First of all, I realize it has been a while since I posted. That's how crazy it's been around here. So here are a few pics from Flag Fest Weekend in Spencer. Yes, I realize it was over a month ago, but these are some of the ones I promised I would get posted. Al and I took Becky and Bode for the weekend to spend some time with Grandpa and Grandma. Here are a few of the highlights!

so busy!
I am in trial and have been for the last couple weeks. I know I'm pretty behind in my blogging. I've got a lot of pictures from Flag Fest weekend that I need to get published and some overnight visits with Isabelle. However, they are orderding transcripts during the trial and I'm behind on other transcripts. Needless to say, I don't have much time at night to work on fun stuff! I'm only taking a few minutes tonight because volleyball got rained out and I wasn't anticipating having any time at all. My 15 mintues are about up though. Otherwise, all is well, and those of you who are waiting for the pictures I mentioned, I'll post them on Shutterfly and try to get some posted here soon!

first movie
A couple weeks ago I took Becky to her first movie (UP) while Al was working at the Speakeasy. Not the best movie, but all in all we had fun. Becky did get scared and didn't want to go in to the movie, so I had to carry her and the pop and the popcorn. Once we got seated though, she was fine. About 20 minutes before the end of the movie, Becky said to me, "I want to go home and see my dad." In my book, that means that movie wasn't all that great! They did show a preview for The Princess and the Frog to come out this fall. I think that might be a little more up Becky's alley! She was pretty excited about that one and the New Ice Age movie. Yeah! I love movies in movie theaters!
Ready to go in to see the movie!

fun weekend
Our weekend started out with a little fishing. Al caught two fish in the first ten minutes! Then....we got nothing! Oh well. We had fun anyway!

Cancun 2009
I thought rather than trying to post pictures of our trip, I would do another Smilebox. I'm loving doing these. It's so much fun! Now, keep in mind we were using disposable cameras on our trip, so the pictures aren't the greatest. We had fun, though, and made lots of memories, and that's all that really matters. Enjoy!

we're home!
Al and I made it home safely from Cancun yesterday. What a great trip! I would post pictures, but my camera broke on the first day we were there when the ocean waves knocked me into a bunch of rocks. The disposable camera I bought the next day doesn't seem to be winding correctly. I will try to get it finished up soon so I can take it to the old fashioned camera store and try to get it developed! We did some relaxing by the pool and by the ocean and a little snorkeling. We even got an extra stay in a hotel in Atlanta on Friday night. We had a really great time, but are glad to be home. And, no, as far as we know, we do not have the flu. We did not even see or hear of anyone where we were who was sick. I guess we'll know for sure in a few days, but so far, we're in the clear!
