Al thought he had Becky talked into a Wonder Woman birthday party, but about a month ago Becky decided she wanted a princess birthday party again. So we bought a pretty Cinderella dress for her to wear and used the decorations from last year. She couldn't have been any happier!

opening presents - definitely one of the highlights, even though turnout for her party was low this year
a Leapster!
Another one of her requests was a castle cake again. I was not going to disappoint my princess, so I spent most of the afternoon on Friday making her this fabulous cake. I did learn a few things last year, so it was a little easier and not quite so lopsided. Getting ready to blow out candles.

All in all, it was a great party. I think Becky was a little disappointed there were no other kids here to play. She spent a lot of time down in the basement playing by herself. That's what happens when you're born so close to a holiday. It just means she'll continue to get presents for a week or so when she sees people for Thanksgivng. I have a feeling she won't mind so much then!
