Easter morning

The Easter Bunny found the kids in Mt. Ayr!!

Colby isn't real sure what's going on, but he knows he found chocolate (which he doesn't usually get in the morning) and bubbles.  He really was excited, even if he looks a little tired.

Posing with her butterfly net.  She was super excited about that!

Not only did he bring baskets, there were eggs hidden too!

Becky giving one of the eggs she found to Colby.  Such a good sister!

Yep...she was really running in the house!

Colby getting his first taste of Cadbury egg

just trying to get a picture of both of them looking at me at the same time

You maybe can't see it here, but Colby is covered in Cadbury egg.  His shirt had a white coating on it.  He destroyed the egg!  I think he even put a little bit of it in his mouth.

Here is Colby's really big grin.  We love it and are constantly trying to get him to smile at us.

All ready for church

Easter Saturday

We headed down to Mt. Ayr this year for Easter weekend.  What a blast we had!  Here are the girls decorating sugar cookies...

and dying Easter eggs. . .

Yes. . . the adults helped too!

Here is the egg hunt.  Becky had a blast running around!

This was Colby's second egg hunt (we made it down just in time for the town egg hunt that morning.)  By this time, he had it figured out pretty well. . . .

Then when he decided he had enough eggs, he sat down, took them all out, and then put them back in again.  The girls were still running around looking for eggs. . .  but Colby had had enough!

end of March

Here are some of the pictures I took the last couple weeks in March.  This is us enjoying one of our 80 degree days.  Becky and Colby had so much fun walking up and down the street.

I took some days off of work to spend with Becky while she was on spring break.  We had a good time.  We went to the zoo.  Becky kept posing for pictures.  I love it that it's her idea.  I don't even have to ask her anymore.  She just says, "Mom, take a picture of me."  LOVE IT!

Here is a peacock that was that close to us.  So cool!

And here's a wallaby that we were really that close to too.  So neat!  I could watch these animals for hours! Good thing Becky was there to keep me moving (and the fact the zoo closed in 90 minutes!)

The new sea lion pool is very neat.

Here is Ice Age.

Here is Becky and Colby - just because I didn't' want to leave him out.

Here we are back at the zoo on Friday.  We didn't get to spend any of Becky's money because they closed the store before we got in there on Thursday.  So...we went back.  This time we went to the store first.  At least we can learn from our mistakes! We decided we might as well walk through again.  Why not?  Becky had her own camera though, so she did most of the picture taking.  We also had time to feed the animals on Friday, which she really loves to do.

We had the Boedings and the Fiihrs over on a Saturday night for dinner and a game of cards.  Here are Drake, Chase, and Becky all cuddled up to watch a movie.

What a great month it was!
